CC Magnito was bred at Clovercrest Miniature Donkey stud in New Zealand. He is a quality little sorrel Jack, and very much the younger version of his multi champion sire 'Riverside's Sparky Magnito' [Imp. USA]. Like his dad, CC Magnito is very stocky and compact, and above all, he has the same wonderful loving and easy going personality.

Both sides of CC Magnito's full pedigree include a number of well known and well regarded American Donkeys and bloodlines. He is the first foal of Cyder's Marmalade [Imp USA]. Like Sparky, Marmalade has many of the 'old bloodline' Mediterranean Donkeys in her pedigree that trace directly back to the original Donkeys imported to the US from Sardinia.  

We would like to thank Marion & Peter van Dijk of Clovercrest Miniature Donkey Stud (New Zealand), for allowing us to purchase this outstanding Jack foal as a future Stud Sire. He is everything we could have hoped for, and more.

Thank you also Peter and Marion for the work you have put into bringing outstanding American Miniature Mediterranean bloodlines to the Southern Hemisphere over the past 30 years. Breeders such as myself, and our breeding programs, can only benefit from your diligent research and investment into the American Miniature Mediterranean Donkey breed and bloodlines.

CC Magnito is developing into an absolutely stunning young Jack. Small, stocky, well proportioned, and incredibly 'true to type'. He has the most beautiful head that I have seen on an American Miniature Mediterranean Donkey, (with only the possible exception of his sister, who was foaled this year at Clovercrest).

One of Nito's most outstanding attributes however, has proven to be an incredibly gentle and affectionate demeanor.

He is an absolute pleasure to do anything with, and accepts anything new in his stride, having a naturally positive and obliging nature.

I am thrilled to bits with this, as I place a particularly high degree of importance on temperament when considering breeding stock. An excellent temperament is crucial.

I am sure that we can look forward to some outstanding babies from this boy, foals who will not only be outstanding AMMD's in their own right, but who will possess their sire's engaging, intelligent, and affectionate disposition.

Still some winter wool to lose, and seems the belly fluff is last to go!
